Short Bio
Doug grew up in the suburbs of Boston, lived for many years in L.A., before moving to Texas. He enjoys creative writing, photography, and painting.
Statement
After toiling happily for several years as an award-winning advertising copywriter, I left the cold and snow of the New England winters for the warm sunsets of Southern California. After a career in aerospace contracts management with Honeywell and Boeing, my inner muse urged me to paint, even though I had very limited training in applying paint to canvas. I enjoy creating pictures that feature nice colors and scenes and images that reflect my heart and personal interests. Thank you for taking a look and I hope you enjoy some of my pictures.
